UPDATED 04/3/2020

At Central Bank we understand that banking is an essential daily need of our customers.  We also understand that you may have questions regarding the measures we are taking during this uncertain and unprecedented time.  First and foremost, we want to assure you that your money is safe. Central Bank is a strong institution with deep roots in the community, our financial assets are secure and deposits are FDIC insured.

Part of our yearly planning is to create and maintain a strong contingency plan that covers events such as a pandemic.  This plan has already been activated to help ensure that you have access to vital banking services.  We have created a pandemic team that is closely monitoring the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Federal Reserve, law enforcement and security experts to assess what measures we can take to protect the health, security and safety of our customers and employees.  This team will be continually evaluating our current response and making necessary changes to support our customers and community as needs arise.

For over 50 years we have been a part of this community and we know that if we all work together, we can overcome any obstacle.   Please stay safe and let us know if we can help.

Law enforcement and security experts are warning that cybercriminals are exploiting the heightened anxiety and concerns about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) virus by impersonating banks, charities and even the government. They are using coronavirus (COVID-19) information websites to lure people into infecting their computers or providing information. Treat all websites, emails, text messages and phone calls as suspect and do not rely on caller ID, be especially cautious if asked for personal information such as your name, social security number, passwords or account information. Central Bank will never reach out to you via phone, text or email and ask for confidential information. If someone says they are from Central Bank you can politely ask for their name, hang up and call us back at our main number 731-925-9046.
